B permit requirements for UK nationals
UK nationals living in Switzerland before 1 January 2021 keep the residence rights they acquired under the AFMP, under the Citizens' Rights Agreement signed on 25 February 2019. Family reunification remains possible for them after that date.
Work
EU/EFTA B permit holders have occupational and geographical mobility. For third-country nationals, the permit is tied to the work the canton has authorised.
